Why we built HogPocket

Every product team we talked to had the same problem: you're away from your desk — in a meeting, on a commute, at dinner — and you need to check a metric. Maybe a deploy just went out. Maybe someone on Slack is asking about conversion rates. You end up squinting at PostHog's web UI on your phone's browser, pinching to zoom, and giving up.

We thought there had to be a better way.

What HogPocket does

HogPocket connects directly to your PostHog instance via the API. There's no middleware, no third-party servers — your data flows straight from PostHog to your phone.

Real-time dashboards — DAU, WAU, MAU, and custom metrics update live as your users take action.

Event explorer — Search and filter every event your product captures. See counts, trends, and drill into individual events.

Funnel analysis — Build conversion funnels and see exactly where users drop off. Pinch to zoom on step detail.

HogQL console — Yes, you can write SQL on your phone. We made the editor surprisingly usable with syntax highlighting and autocomplete.

Session recordings — Browse recent sessions, see page flows, and spot issues without opening your laptop.

Smart alerts — Get notified when metrics move outside expected ranges.
